Re-opened in 2009, the Cervo Mountain Boutique Resort is a collection of seven charming individual chalets in a pretty wooded setting above the centre of Zermatt.
Family owned for generations, the Cervo offers the ultimate in homely chic. One of its chalets (the original private residence) has been converted into the main building and houses the delightful bar and restaurant. The others host 35 spacious hotel rooms and suites that can booked separately or as private chalets, each with their own sauna, steam room and outdoor hot-tubs.
Dining:
Accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis, with extensive buffet breakfast.
There are also two à la carte restaurants, one specialising in international cuisine, the other in regional Swiss fare - both of which are open for lunch and dinner.
