If it's 100% guaranteed snow you're after, then look no further than Hintertux - Europe's premier glacier ski area - open 365 days a year! 

We are delighted to be working with the highly acclaimed family Hotel Hintertuxerhof, one of a select few Alpine hotels to offer professional child-care all year round.

Backing onto the nursery slopes, the Hintertuxerhof is just a stone’s throw from the lifts and, in winter, it is usually possible to ski back to the door.

Hintertux boasts one of the biggest and best glaciers in the Alps and is one of only two ski areas to open 365 days a year (weather permitting). The terrain is more varied and challenging than you might expect, with plenty to amuse all abilities, even in the height of summer.

In winter, additional (non-glacial) areas open up to offer more than 80km of ultra-snow-sure pistes. Adventurous skiers may also want to explore nearby Mayrhofen, which can be accessed via Lanersbach just a short bus ride down the valley.

It may seem too good to be true, but not only does Hintertux guarantee year-round snow, the Hotel Hintertuxerhof offers free year-round childcare – that’s all day, every day, 365 days a year!

Childcare is available from 9am to 9pm for ages 2-16**, and the hotel has dedicated childcare facilities, with different rooms for different ages, offering activities ranging from handicrafts to snowman building and movie nights.

Most afternoons children also have the opportunity to be escorted (by hotel minibus) to the nearby indoor play arena, where there are soft play areas, climbing towers, trampolines, giant slides, a cinema and much more!

Children’s ski school can also be booked and incorporated into the programme (an extra cost applies).

* Guide price is based on a departure in low season and includes flights, private transfers and 3 or 7 nights accommodation on a half board basis
