The Hotel Waldhaus is a charming family-run hotel set on the edge of a pine forest in the idyllic mountain hideaway of Bettmeralp, one of three villages making up the Aletsch Arena ski area.
The hotel is proud to be involved in numerous 'green initiatives', including the building of six new delightful contemporary 'Holz100' rooms - built using an ecologically sustainable construction system with wood free from toxins and chemicals, which can be recycled at the end of its lifespan in an entirely natural state.
The Waldhaus is justifiably proud of its restaurant, which specialises in locally sourced, organic, seasonal cuisine including vegan options.
