Big snowfalls across parts of the Alps right now!

Heavy snow has hit many parts of the Alps in the last 24 hours, with plenty more in the forecast over the next few days!

So far, the most snow has fallen in higher parts of the north-western Alps (like Les Arcs, pictured) – where there has been 50cm or more above 2700m, with the same possible again by Monday night. Temperatures have also plummeted, with a dusting of snow to as low as 1200m in places this morning.

Weather-permitting, it is already possible to ski in a dozen or so areas across the Alps, with two of our featured resorts, Sölden and Hintertux offering the greatest extent of terrain, including some non-glacial runs.

This current storm cycle is predicted to end on Tuesday, at which point there will be some truly fabulous early season snow conditions on offer in the Alps.
